Product description

This meat carving aid is great for slicing roast beef, turkey, lamb and other large pieces of meat. The 12 prongs are extremely sharp and will hold the meat steady while slicing. Unlike a traditional carving fork which only has 2 prongs, the multiple prongs provide more stability. Each prong is spaced about 1/2 millimeter apart. For thicker slices of meat, only cut between every 3rd or 4th prong. The rounded handle is large and comfortable to grip. This carving aid can also be used as a meat tenderizer to break down the connective tissues which can make meat taste tough and leathery. A protective piece of plastic keeps the prongs covered when not in use. This item is dishwasher safe. Use caution when removing it from the dishwasher. The prongs are very sharp. Measures 4.5x1x6.75-in..

An excellent companion to a high-quality carving knife, this heavy-duty carving aid provides a tenuous hold on a juicy skirt steak or even a huge Thanksgiving turkey. More sturdy than a traditional two-pronged carving fork, this meat holder is shaped like a woman’s hair comb and has twelve sharp spikes protruding from the 4-1/2-inch-wide brushed stainless-steel handle. As you push down on the comfortable rounded handle, the spikes secure your meat and reduce the amount of wobbling that often occurs with a smaller fork. And, with about ½ millimeter of space between spikes, the carving aid even has room for a knife to cut slices between them–something that is not possible with a traditional fork. The holder is made of durable 18/10 stainless steel and is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning. –Cristina Vaamonde
