- The stainless steel cable (silver wire) is not waterproof. Do not immerse the cable into water when washing the temperature sensor. Otherwise, it will show incorrect temperature if water run inside the cable, please dry the steel cable then try again if this happens. Do not put the sensor/the steel cable in the fire or place it in which temperature is higher than 300°C/570℉, it will broken the sensor and the cable.
