Only the Smokehouse Chef and Hightower Kitchen meat grinders are real stainless steel and dishwasher safe. This plate is used to stuff meat into your sausage casings. Stainless steel tubes are also available from Smokehouse Chef. Plate has 2 large holes to allow the meat to flow faster into the tubes/casings. New stainless steel knife included.
